This hike starts in the town of Cachipay is follows an old railway that leads to the picturesque town of Girardot. You’ll walk through a tropical forest typical of this region with a pleasant climate averaging 22 degrees celsius. This is a mild hike on mostly flat terrain. We’ll pass through villages La Capilla and El Ocaso, in the county of Zipacon. The trail is decorated with guava and tangerine trees and other fruits typical of Tequandama.
