CANCELLATION RESPONSIBILITIES AND POLICIES

Arrampicata Travel and Adventure is an association legally constituted in Colombia, NIT number 900398913, with the primary social purpose of creating, developing, commercializing, organizing, and promoting tourism services operated by the same association or affiliated businesses inside Colombia. The tourism services are contracted by individual people, business agencies, foreigners and nationals. Arrampicata provides guide and equipment services specific to each activity. Arrampicata develops and commercializes tourism activities, trip, nature expeditions, and adventure trips in Colombia, which is the focus of its clients (from hereon USERS) both national and international.

The use of our website by the USER ratifies their acceptance of the terms and conditions designated here and their total recognition of the offerings and services by Arrampicata Travel and Adventure. In this case, we suggest the USER carefully reads this section before using the website. If you have any questions, contact Arrampicata using the email info@arrampicata.co before using our web platform because once a service has been reserved, it cannot be canceled except under exceptional circumstances listed below under CANCELATION OF SERVICES.

By entering, registering, reserving, and buying services through arrampicata.co website, the USER accepts the terms and conditions outlined in this document and acknowledges that Arrampicata has outlined the risks, conditions, and responsibilities that take place in each activity or trip offered by the company. The USER assumes full responsibility for any harm or damage done to him/herself or to third parties during activities listed

1. RESPONSIBILITIES

The USER’s responsibilities include the following:

  • Choose a tour that corresponds to your interests and abilities
  • Determine whether the destinations and activities are appropriate for your needs and capacities
  • Ensure that you are in optimal physical conditions and health for the tour or activity you’ve chosen
  • You are responsible for your personal items
  • Behave in a way that respects Colombian laws and abstain from behaviors that compromise the safety and comfort of other participants
  • Not to come on the trip while under the influence of alcohol or hallucinogenic drugs.
    You are responsible for prescription drugs that might preclude you from any activities listed

2. REIMBURSEMENT POLICY OR SERVICE CANCELLATION

In the case of service cancellation for whatever reason, the USER should write to  info@arrampicata.co, detailing the following information:

  • Name of the activity and reservation number
  • Date
  • Names and surnames of the USER and guests who appear on the reservation
  • Contact phone number

The USER will receive a reimbursement on their deposit in the following circumstances:

CANCELLATION OF TRIPS AND PACKAGES

  • You will receive a 90% reimbursement if you cancel 20 – 30 days before the trip’s date
  • You will receive a 70% reimbursement if you cancel 15 – 19 days before the trip’s date
  • You will receive a 50% reimbursement if you cancel 10 – 14 days before the trip’s date
  • You will receive a 30% reimbursement if you cancel 5 – 9 days before the trip’s date
  • There are no reimbursements for trips cancelled less than 5 days before the trip’s date

CANCELLATION OF ACTIVITIES

  • You will receive 100% of your deposit back if you cancel within 24 hours of your tour.
  • • There are no reimbursements made for trips cancelled less than 24 hours before.

However, the user has the following options:

  • You can reschedule you activity taking into consideration the schedule of the corresponding activity.
  • You can change the activity and choose something else from our portfolio.
  • You can sign over the tour to a third person you authorize.

Please keep in mind the following:

  • In case of reimbursement, the user will assume the costs for money or bank transfer or any other costs incurred by the reimbursement process.
  • In the case of a “no-show” on the day of the tour, there will be no reimbursement whatsoever.
  • In the case of a tour or activity being cancelled by Arrampicata Trip and Adventure for reasons outside our control (natural disasters, eathquakes, transportation problems (airline, ground, or water), climate change, protests or manifestations), we will return 100% of your deposit.

TRANSPORTATION CANCELLATION

    • You will receive 100% of your deposit if you cancel within 12 hours of your reservation
    • There are no reimbursements made for reservations cancelled less than 12 hours before

However, the user has the following options:

  • You can reschedule your transportation.
  • You can change the activity and choose something else from our portfolio. In case the activity cost be more or less of the cost already payed we’ll do the corresponding adjusment
  • You can sign over the tour to a third person you authorize.

Please keep in mind the following:

  • In case of reimbursement, the user will assume the costs for money or bank transfer or any other costs incurred by the reimbursement process.
  • In the case of a “no-show” on the day of the tour, there will be no reimbursement whatsoever.
  • In the case of a tour or activity being cancelled by Arrampicata Trip and Adventure for reasons outside our control (natural disasters, eathquakes, transportation problems (airline, ground, or water), climate change, protests or manifestations), we will return 100% of your deposit.
