Explore the excitement of rock climbing at Suesca Rocks, an ancient place known for its 100 meter tall rock walls that is full of history. After a brief introductory talk, we will hike 45 minutes over the top of a mountain and back down to a set of old railroad tracks. Once we get to the rock walls, we will set up our first rock climb to learn the techniques of climbing and experience the thrill of being high up on the cliffs. Our day of climbing will be at a beginner level, with a main objective of introducing you to recreational climbing. You will also have an opportunity to rappel from a height of 18 meters. This rappelling happens in a place named for the Virgin, where you can see how former religious beliefs were replaced by Christianity.
