Travel Itinerary
Start your tour through the capital of Colombia visiting Monserrate in Bogotá, enjoy the climb by cable car where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, thanks to its location at more than 3152 m of high. There you can get to know the church that is located on the top of the hill and that stands out for its whiteness, you will also taste a typical dish of this place full of history and religious icons. After descending you will go to see the Gold Museum in the center of the city where you can view and admire pieces that belonged to indigenous cultures of the pre-Columbian era of Colombia. At the end of this visit, you will be directed to the Botero Museum where you will be delighted with a large number of works by the artist in support of the arts of this beautiful country. Continue visiting the heart of the capital, La Candelarlia, tourist space, which promotes culture and education. Move to Usaquén, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch and you will know a quiet space that still retains its essence of indigenous people, its narrow streets, the church of Santa Bárbara de Usaquén located in the main square, and the different spaces of crafts, culture, and its gastronomy, make this destination an unmissable place. To finish this tour, you will be directed to Zona T, here you will enjoy an afternoon of shopping through a variety of commercial places to suit all tastes.
You will start this day visiting one of the most iconic places in Colombia: Guatavita lake. This lake is also the most famous of the sacred lakes of the ancient Chibcha culture. It has countless legends and incredible events that you can enjoy during the walk around it. You will continue your trip through Guatavita, which is a place of indigenous Muisca ceremonies that is full of history and colonial constructions, this place will be the perfect host for a walk through its stone pavement, so you can admire its beautiful architecture and have an amazing lunch time before arriving to Zipaquirá. This beautiful village will be the perfect place to start the tour through its emblematic salt cathedral. In this architectural place you will find a rich artistic collection of salt and marble sculptures in an entirely religious environment.
The last day, as usual you will take a breakfast on the hotel, after that, you will departure from the hotel to the airport, finishing this amazing adventure.
