Come to Antioquia for a delicious coffee experience and to take in some of the most amazing coffee landscapes in the country. We’ll make our first stop on the tour just 45 minutes outside Medellín, at Titiribí. From here, you can see Tusa Peak, the only natural pyramid on earth. You can sample coffee at this first stop and also purchase snacks. Next stop: Jardín de Antioquia, a village nestled in the mountains, surrounded by lush farms, and located at the heart of the Los Andes trail. We’ll head up the road to one of the most renowned coffee farms in the region, made up of approximately 200,000 coffee trees. Here, we’ll get a hands-on perspective of the coffee growing process, from seed to cup. We’ll learn about each stage of coffee growing, harvesting, processing, and drying. We’ll learn what makes an excellent cup of coffee and why Colombia is recognized worldwide for its distinct flavors and excellent beans. Finally, we’ll ride a cable car to the top of the mountain, where you can take in stunning 360 views of Jardín and the surrounding landscapes. Once back in the central plaza, we’ll enjoy a cup of coffee in this pristine setting before heading back home to Medellín.
