Just 45 minutes from Bogotá is a spectacular waterfall called La Chorrera. This is a place of Colombian national pride. The majestic waterfalls falls 590 meters, the tallest in Colombia and the second tallest in all of Latin America. We’ll enter the nature reserve for an ecological tour of the abundant flora and fauna gracing the region. We’ll start on a path descending between the mountains Alto Grande and El Amarillo. We’ll continue uphill through verdant vegetation and humid climates. The hike takes approximately 3 hours, medium difficulty, and semi-mountainous terrain.
